APNEA
1 – 15 December 2015
The artist Andi Nallbani comes with an exhibition entitled “APNEA”, with a series of works selected from his creative oeuvre of the last 15 years, which relate to one another through the artist’s unique stance in the face of existential questions and the environment of his daily reality. Childhood, as a dimension, and human relationships, seen through meditation and irony, are conveyed through pictorial imagery, at times grouped in the form of a ‘diary’ and, at other times, isolated in order to maximally emphasize their iconographic significance. APNEA, the suspension of breathing, is the spiritual and physical condition experienced by the artist both at the moment of admiration of a universal truth that can leave one breathless, and at the moment of observation of a social and cultural reality where true spiritual breathing becomes quite impossible.
