ZETA Center has the pleasure to invite cultural explorers, researchers, directors, writers, curators, musicians, designers, etc., to send their applications to participate in the online discussion/workshop:

POP in Austria and Albania.

POP in Austria and Albania, is organised by ZETA Center in December, under the mentor-ship of Karl Wratschko (artist and curator, based in Vienna) moderated by Endri Dani (artist, based in Tirana) . This project starts from the archival exhibition “POP 1900-2000” held in Historical Museum of the city of Graz in 2019. This exhibition proved to be a conceptual hit to the well-known “POP” terminology and discourse. Which were the consequences that had the local culture from movements with expansive gravity, like: Disco, New Wave, Punk, Hip-Hop, Heavy Metal, Indie Rock, electronic music, Techno, advertising industry, fashion industry etc. The second chapter of this discussion/workshop claims to articulate the impact of mass culture from post-communist Albania to the present day.
