The finalists of the 2018 Ardhje Award are: Blerina Muça, Fatlum Doçi, Remijon Pronja and Sokol Peçi.
The 2018 Ardhje Award Winner will be announced by the international jury members (Barnabás Bencsik, Anthony Elms and Alketa Ramaj) during the opening of the finalists’ exhibition curated by Alban Hajdinaj on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 7PM at Zeta Gallery – Tirana.

BLERINA MUÇA was born in 1985 in Fier. She studied painting at the Academy of Arts in Tirana and graduated in 2008. Among her most important exhibitions are: “Idromeno Award”, Art Gallery, Shkodër (2017); “… in a day like any other”, Zeta Gallery, Tirana (2015); Onufri XVIII. “Painting of Modern Life”, National Art Gallery, Tirana (2011). She lives and works in Tirana.
FATLUM DOÇI was born in 1991 in Shkodra, where he currently lives and works. He studied multimedia arts at the University of Arts in Tirana and graduated in 2015. Among his most important exhibitions are: The Biennial of Humor and Satire, Gabrovo, Bulgaria (2017); Mediterranea 18 Young Artists Biennale, Tirana, (2017); “It Looks Like”, Zeta Gallery, Tirana (2017); “Inside-Out”, Tirana Art Lab (2016); “Idromeno Award”, Art Gallery, Shkodër (2015); arTVision – A Live Art Channel, M’ARS Center for Contemporary Art, Moscow (2015). In 2015 he was an artist-in-residence at the Light Residency in Rijeka (Croatia), organized by an electro-acoustic duo JMZM.
REMIJON PRONJA was born in 1984 in Tirana, where he currently lives and works. He studied in Italy and received his MA degrees in painting and contemporary art research from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milano (2011). He had three solo exhibitions so far: “Inno alla Gioia”, Galleria Opere Scelte, Torino (2018), “Untitled in Allegro Moderato”, Zeta Gallery, Tirana (2017), and “rex anonymous”, Ku(rz)nthalle Bregenz, Austria (2014). He took part in numerous group exhibitions, among which:: “Exgratia”, Collezione Giuseppe Iannaccone, Milan (2018); “Idromeno Award”, Shkodër (2017); Mediterranea 18 Young Artists Biennale, Tirana (2017); “The Whale That Was a Submarine”, Ludwig Museum, Budapest (2015); “Post Young Albanian Artists”, Fondazione Museo Pino Pascali (2013); Onufri XIX: “Perchance to Dream”, National Art Gallery, Tirana (2012).
SOKOL PEÇI was born in 1984 in Tirana, where he currently lives and works. He studied visual arts in Italy, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice (2008) and received his MA degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna (2013). Among his most important exhibitions are: “Double Feature #9”, Tirana Art Lab, (2017); “T.I.C.A. Residence #7”, Zeta Gallery, Tirana (2011); “What is Waiting Out There”, 6th Berlin Biennial (2010); “The Symbolic Efficiency of the Frame”, Tirana Biennale – Satellite Project (2009); Onufri XVI. “Proof and Desire”, National Art Gallery, Tirana (2009); 87th Collective Exhibition, Bevilacqua la Masa Foundation, Venice (2003).
